Screen and battery work happens at arm's length. Board-level faults live at the scale below, individual components, pads and traces, found and repaired under a microscope.

What the work involves

Opened, not swapped.

A board-level repair means the device comes apart to the component: shields off, battery out, the fault traced on the board itself. Most shops stop at swapping the whole assembly.

Bring the device in and you can watch the diagnosis on the microscope feed.
